Sharing Session by the Women's Everest Team
NATAS-SWET is about the experience of realizing a dream and the possibilities created by passion. After five years of training, climbing, intensive fundraising and weathering setbacks, the team knows that Mount Everest is more than just a quest for the summit.
Reaching the summit of Mount Everest symbolizes the pinnacle of human achievement. Our journey can be expressed as a universal metaphor for personal development, and as an inspiration for overcoming insurmountable odds with success.
The planning, managerial and technical dexterity, as well as the sheer determination required to execute an expedition are synonymous with skills essential for success and are necessary for anyone with a view to conquer his or her own “Everest”.

26 Sep: Take a Walk to Singapore Quarry
We're doing a Singapore Quarry Walk (Bt Timah Nature Reserve - Singapore Quarry - Bt Timah Nature Reserve) this coming weekend. The Singapore Quarry, located within the newly opened Dairy Farm Nature Park, was an old disused quarry that is recently revived and turned into a freshwater wetland that is now home to insects, birds and fishes. So if you're free this weekend and looking for a new place with some fresh air, this is the place to check out with us. If you're lucky, you may catch a glimpse of one of the new habitants of the area. The walk is expected to end by 12 pm. You are also welcome to join us for lunch after.
